The Israeli army said today another two soldiers were killed in the Gaza Strip, bringing the number of its fatalities in the blockaded enclave to 49 since Oct. 27, when it launched the ground incursion.

A military statement said that four more soldiers were seriously injured in fighting in the Palestinian territory.

Israel has launched relentless air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip since the Hamas resistance movement carried out the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation on Oct. 7.

At least 11,320 Palestinians have been killed, including around 7,800 women and children, and over 29,200 others have been injured, according to the latest figures from Palestinian authorities.
