The rendering has been published by Saudi Arabia’s King Fahd Holy Quran Printing Complex, al-Riyadh.com website reported.
The Saudi minister to Malaysia and the president of the International Islamic University Malaysia were among the officials attending the ceremony.
Malay is an Austronesian language officially spoken in Indonesia, Brunei, Malaysia and Singapore and unofficially spoken in East Timor and parts of Thailand.
It is spoken by 290 million people across the Malay world.
The King Fahd Holy Quran Printing Complex, which is based in the holy city of Medina, has published Quran translations in 40 different languages so far.
The Quran printing complex produces about 10 million copies of the Holy Book a year.
