The center, built on an 84 square-meter plot of land, has two classes with a capacity to host 35 students each.

It is one of the new projects of the society to establish Dar-ol-Quran centers in different countries aiming to serve the Holy Quran.

Ayyub Al-Ivazi, head of the society’s Cambodia and Thailand Office, said such Quran memorization centers play an important role in scientific and cultural growth of students.

He also highlighted the role of the centers in uprooting illiteracy in the society and development of educational infrastructures.

The society hopes to raise a generation who master religious sciences and knowledge of their time, he added.
