Quran Memorization Course to Be Held in Iraq
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A special course on memorization of the entire Quran in one year will be held in Iraq after the holy month of Ramadan.
According to Qaaf news agency, Natiq Al-Zarkani, secretary general of the Quran Activists Union of Iraq said those taking the one-year course will be memorizers of the entire Quran and can later teach Quran memorization.
Applicants, aged 13 to 24, should be familiar with Quran recitation principles.
Registration for the course will continue until the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
Those willing to attend the program will be evaluated by a committee of Quran experts from other countries.
The course will be held separately for men and women, according to the organizers.
The union will financially support the Quranic program.
