Speaking in a meeting with his Kuwaiti counterpart in Istanbul, Turkey, Larijani added that the Zionist regime and the United States exploit slight differences among Muslim countries.

Therefore, he stated, Muslims need to strive for unity and enhanced relations.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Larijani referred to the Takfiri threat and said all Islamic countries ought to have cooperation and interaction to confront the Takfiris. 
He also hailed the good relations between Iran and Kuwait and called for the expansion of bilateral ties.
Larijani is in Turkey to attend the 10th session of the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (PUOIC).
The meeting began on January 20 and will conclude on January 22.
