According to Alan newspaper, Farhan ‘Ubaid Al-Shemri, head of the society's office in Jahra Province of Kuwait said that the copies of the Divine Book were gifted to Muslim children in Kenya who, in order to memorize the Quran’s verses, had been using the Quran inscribed on pieces of wood.
Al-Shemri noted that the RIHS's objective is to make the Holy Quran copies available for all Muslims in different parts of the world.
He added that the society has so far distributed 20000 Quran copies at Dar-ol-Quran centers and mosques in Yemen and 10000 copies among mosques and Quranic circles in Egypt.
He further stressed the importance of disseminating the Holy Quran’s teachings and noted that the society will implement the plan, i.e. publication and distribution of the Holy Quran, all over the world.
