Speaking to IQNA, Mohammad Baqer Khorramshad, an academic board member of Allameh Tabatabaee University, added that since the victory of Iran’s Islamic Revolution, political Islam has made its way into the world’s thoughts.  

He underlined that the issue of Islamic civilization is among the major cultural, political and social issues in the current era.

According to Khorramshad, the Islamic civilization view has different aspects, including arts, science, religion, aesthetics, technology, etc.

He said the Islamic civilization considers the civilizational realm to be a combination of body and soul and incorporates both materialistic and spiritual aspects of human beings.  

The scholar further stated that the Islamic Revolution has provided an opportunity for institutionalizing the Islamic civilization with a jurisprudential view and in a cohesive form while benefiting from all capacities of the Islamic thought.
