TEHRAN (IQNA) – The National Center for Quranic Sciences affiliated to Iraq’s Shia Endowments Office announced the conditions for registration in the preliminary stage of the 12th national Quran competition for Iraqi elites.


According to Qaaf news agency, the center has invited Quran reciters and memorizers of the country to participate in the national Quranic event.

The competition will be held for men, women, and visually impaired Quran activists as well as seminarians and high school students.

Top participants will be selected to compete at international Quran contests.

Those willing to sign up for the competition can refer to the branches of the Shia Endowments Office or Quranic organizations in different provinces of Iraq.

Applicants aged 18 to 40 are eligible to participate in the recitation category and those who apply to compete in the memorization category should not be under 18 or older than 35.
