The competition was held by the province’s Awqaf and Charity Affairs Department earlier this week.

According to the panel of judges, Rezvaneh Baqeri bagged the top prize in the memorization of the entire Quran category.

Saeedeh Soltani came first in memorization of 20 Juzes (parts) of the Quran.

The top winners in memorization of 10 and 5 Juzes were Zahra Mohammadi and Somayyeh Farhangi, respectively.

Azarman Sadeqi went home with the top prize in recitation of the Quran and Zahra Rezae Nik came first in prayer recitation.

The Dar-ol-Quran Center in Hakimiyeh Neighborhood of Tehran hosted the competition for women on July 17-18.

The contest for men started on Saturday and will conclude tomorrow.
