Winners of Quran Contest in Lebanon Awarded
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The World Quran and Sunnah Society affiliated to the Muslim World League organized a Quran competition for children and teenagers in Lebanon.
According to Qaaf news agency, 90 children and teenagers competed in the Quranic event in two groups for boys and girls,
Lebanon’s Dar al-Ifta supervised the organization of the Quranic event.
The participants competed in four categories of Quran memorization.
Winners were awarded by the Dar al-Ifta at a ceremony attended by the contenders, family members and religious and Quranic officials.
Speakers at the awarding ceremony highlighted the virtues of memorizing the Holy Quran and underlined the need for acting upon the teachings of the Holy Book.
