Final Stage of Islamic Azad University’s Quran Competition Slated for October

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The final stage of the 24th edition of the Quran competition for the students, teachers and personnel of Iran’s Islamic Azad University will be held from October 8 to 10 in the southern city of Shiraz.

 

Ali Ezzati, head of the Office for Quran and Etrat Centers of the university, told IQNA that the oral section of this stage of the competition will be held for about 500 individuals including 320 students of the university.

He said that the students will compete on Tahghigh and Tarteel recitation of Quran and memorization of 30, 20, 10 and 5 Juzes (parts) of the Quran.

Quran recitation and memorization of 30, 15 and 5 Juzes will be the categories of the competition for the teachers of the university, he added.

The university’s personnel will participate in Tarteel and Tahghigh recitation and memorization of the first 5 and 10 Juzes as well as the 30th Juz of Quran, the official noted.
