TEHRAN (IQNA) – Pakistani President Arif Alvi received a copy of the Holy Quran as a gift from Iran at the Islamabad Book Fair.

 

During a visit to the Iranian Culture Center’s pavilion at the book fair on Tuesday, Alvi was gifted with the Quran copy, which also includes an English translation.

The book fair was organized on April 21-23 by Pakistan’s National Book Foundation and the Ministry of Information, Broadcasting, National History and Literary Heritage.

Some 150 publishers from Pakistan and other countries showcased their latest books at the three-day cultural event.

The books presented at the pavilion of the Iranian Cultural Center included those in Urdu, Persian and English on religion, arts, Iranology, history and culture of Iran and the Islamic Revolution.
