Iranian Women Qaris Recite Quran in Iraq

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A number of Iranian women Quran activists participated at an international Quranic session held for women at Al-Ameed University of Karbala, Iraq.

 

 

 

According to Al-Kafeel website, the program was organized on the sidelines of the third edition of “the Spirit of Prophethood” cultural festival.

Kafeel Quranic School affiliated to Seddighah Tahirah Center in the holy city of Karbala held the Quranic session in cooperation with Al-Ameed Complex for Girls.

The program included Quran recitation by Iranian, Afghan and Iraqi female Qaris, Tawasheeh performance and eulogies about the virtues of Hazrat Zahra (SA), and Quran recitation by teenage girls.

It was an opportunity for the women Quran activists of different countries to get acquainted with the Quranic level of Iraqi women as well as the Quranic activities of the Astan (Custodianship) of Hazrat Abbas (AS) holy shrine.

Holding Quranic courses and educational sessions on Quran recitation principles, Sowt and Lahn, and implementing national Quranic plans to train women Quran reciters are among the programs organized Kafeel Quranic School on the sidelines of the festival.

The festival is underway at Seddighah Tahirah Center affiliated to the Astan since February 28.
