Over 2000 Students Attend Summer Quranic Courses in Jordan

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The summer Quran memorization courses in Al-Koura city of Irbid Governorate in Jordan began with the participation of more than 2000 girls and boys.

  

According to ammonnews.net, the Awqaf (endowments) Ministry of the Arab country has organized the courses which began on July 1.

Heytham Bani Rashid, director of the Endowments Office in Al-Koura, said that 50 Quranic centers are hosting the courses in the summer holidays.

He added that skillful teachers have been selected to teach the principles of Quran recitation and memorization as well as Seerah Nabawi.

The courses are free and the students will receive certificate of attendance by the ministry.
