Winner of Quran Recitation Competition in Ghana to Be Awarded Hajj Pilgrimage
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Winner of this year's Twellium National Quran Recitation Competition (TNQRC) in Ghana will be presented with a free ticket to visit Mecca for the impending Hajj.
A release by the High Office of the National Chief Imam of Ghana made the announcement, according to myjoyonline.com.
The TNQRC Annual Convention serves as a platform for the Muslim youth to celebrate their love, passion, and commitment to the Holy Quran by memorization and recitation to propagate the Islamic religion.
In collaboration with the High Office of the National Chief Imam of Ghana and National Imam of Ahlussuna Wal Jamah (ASWAJ), the program was held at the Ahlussuna Waljam National Head Office on Saturday June 9, with 9 contestants representing each region of Ghana.
