Denmark to Host “Qods” Int’l Meeting

-- “Al Qods; Arab Cultural Capital 2009” international meeting will be held on September 26 and 27 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
According to Al-Arab Online, the international meeting organized with the motto of “Denmark says hello to Qods” will be held in Copenhagen which is the first European capital to host the meeting.
The event planned by Danish Center for Culture and Development in cooperation with the country’s Foreign Ministry and a number of Qods art and cultural institutes will be attended by some cultural figures and artists from Palestine and Denmark as well as a number of ambassadors of Arab and Islamic countries to Denmark.
Mohammad Hussein, Qods and Palestine Mufti, Na’im Atigh, director of “Sabil” Cultural Center of Qods, Rafigh Al-Husaini, head of the executive council of “Al Qods; Arab Cultural Capital” Festival and some of the eminent Palestinian artists and musicians will also take part at the meeting.
Head of Danish Center for Culture and Development, regarded familiarizing Denmark citizens with the noble Palestinian culture and reinforcing cultural relations between Denmark an Arab countries as the objectives of the meeting.
