TEHRAN (IQNA) – Mostafa Chamran Save'ei was an Iranian physicist, politician, and commander who served as the first defense minister of post-revolutionary Iran and as member of parliament, as well as the commander of paramilitary volunteers during the Iraqi-imposed war in the 1980s, known as “Irregular Warfare Headquarters”.
He achieved martyrdom on June 20, 1981 in Dehlaviya, southwest Iran.
His father’s home in Tehran was turned into a museum by Tehran Municipality in 2008.
